Tongan Language Week

 This whole week is about Tongan language week,for Tongan language we are going to be looking and learning on what they do for there culture and also seeing on what makes it so special in it's own unque way. The theme for tongan language week this week is 'Fakakoloa 'o Aotearoa 'aki 'a e Lotu Mo ' oni', in english it is Enriching Aotearoa New Zealnad through prayer and faith. The Capital of Tonga is Nuku 'alofa,they also have a king who rules and looks after the land,his name is king Tupou VI and his family helps him through his role and supports him too.

Acrostic Poem

Task description: This is a blog post that room 11 class has done for today,this is an acrostic poem, we had to make a google drawing doc than write our names down and then we had to write words with the letters in our name. This was easy but took me some time to think of some words to describe what I do and what the words in my name mean of me.

He hākete kikorangi


Task description: Todays blog is from my te reo class from our yr 8 routations during middle block with our te reo teacher Wha kelly in room 3. For this task we had to describe objects using colours but the words are in maori and some were in english as well. This was really interesting because this also helps me to try and learn New Zealand maori because I only know Cook Island maori but it's kind of the same but some of the words are different.

Task description: This blog post is from my te reo class from when we had routations during middle block,also when our yr 7s went to tech at Tamaki College too. This is apart of a google slide that I will put up after this whole thing is finished. This task is about the colours and what objects is there but we also have to do it in maori and add the pictures to say which is which.

Te Whare Tapa Wha-Taha Whanau L3

Task description: Today's blog Task is a Te whare tapa wha challenge,our first one for this te whare tapa wha challenge  was taha whanau. For taha whanau we had to make text boxes and then we had to bullet point the roles of what our family members have to do,we also had to create avatar characters and try to fit them in the boxes for each family member you put in.

Measurement - Estimation, Reading Scales

Task description: Today's blog post is from my math's class but this task is a about measurements - estimations and reading scales,this helps us with our decimals,multiplication and subtracting. This was meant to be finished during lock down but I didn't have time to post it then so I'm presenting it now, this was a little bit tricky for me because math's is not my favorite subject but I tried to make an effort and answer as many questions there is.
