Match 'em up
Task Description: This blog post is from my inquiry that I did with the rest of my class including the teacher as well, this task is part a world of difference but mixed with some other stuff and it also is telling us about myths and legends. This was done by room 11&12 for our inquiry class because it is almost like our literacy class because this term we are in our math class as our home class as well, this task that I am doing is a myth that Combadian people taught to their childrens. This is an activity like match them up,so all I had to do was put the images and boxes in the right place and then I had to retell some of the bits in the stroy in my own words the I'm done.
Immersion Assembly
Task Description: This blog post is what room 11&12 has to do,so we have to explain what happened in assembly and your highlights of things that happened too. Today my highlights for when we were in assembly was when each team block presented a movie or a play talking about our different world and different cultures. Also how some teachers shared some of the things they know about there families history from back in the olden days, they also explained what there cultures are all about and what the things they have are telling us about and how they all have a story behind everything they present or use in there play or video, say like I'm from the Cook Islands and I present something from the Islands infront of the whole school like I present a coconut from a coconut from the Islands we use coconuts to drink and to eat the uto inside it,we use the kikau leaves to make baskets, bracelets, classes, balls & hats. Also one of my highlights was when team 5 teachers went up on stage to present there play because they were telling a stpry about an eel and a young girl, telling what it was about and how they played it. So in assembly the teachers explained to us for our Inquiry we will all be learning about a world of difference and other cultures that we students and teachers are from & try to understand what each culture mean and why they are so different from other cultures. Through this whole term I will be putting up some tasks on my blog about Inquiry of a world of difference,I will also be showing some photos that have been taking during emmersion assembly under this task description as well.

Identifying Shapes
Task Description: Well todays blog post was meant to be posted up on my blog a few weeks ago because this was wk 6 's post but for some reason I forgot all about it so I tried finishing it before next term. This task is from my math class and we had to tell information about everysingle shapes that we use in maths, and my other reason why is because I'm not really into maths. Our math teacher is Mrs Ilaoa in room 11&12 just near the wharewhono and the top field,we also were learning meanings for the shapes and how you can identify the shapes.
Stand Up: Venn Diagram
Task Description: This blog post is apart of the same task I posted up earlier, they both are based on protesting that happened long before any of us were born like in the 19s or 18s. This is from my literacy class for reading,we were talking about protesters earlier in this month like on wk 4,5,6,7 or 8. But this one is a venn diagram, the other one was a vocabulary one so for this task I had to write similarities that happened in each of the protestings that happened,so I chose Depression Riots & Waterfront Dispute, they both have police officers involved and many other things too.
Stand Up: Vocabulary
Task Description: Todays task description is about protesting that happend back in 19s and 18s,this is part of my reading task. This was presented to us by our teacher Mrs Moala, protesting means like people going around in a big group trying to make things right or are going on a strike for something. This is a vocabulary talking about some words that was presented in the book about stand up,some words have some things to do with violents and nonviolents. The book a read about protesters was very interesting because I found out that people were going on strikes and that to make things right and to stop people from taking their lands.

Scale Poster
Task Description: Todays post was on a Sunday but sorry if I didn't post it on the same day, anyways this blog post is part of one of my maths work from my maths class room 11 & 12 with our teacher Mrs Ilaoa. This post is all about thermometers, thermometers are what we like to use to check the temperature if it's warm or cold. There are 2 words for when we use the electronic thermometer which are Celsius and fahrenheit, the short cuts for it are just c & h. These are some info I know about thermometers because we learn about them at school and because I seen many at hospitals, clinic and who knows what else,so yeah it even says how we use it and others.
