The Great Ordinary

Task description: Todays blog post is from my literacy class and is also about the great ordinary, a woman who is a photographer who takes photo's of people who are lost is their own thoughts and world. It talks about how many photos she took and projects she has done, this was for our group called Paua and kina the highest reading group and also to show us some tips on how to show us what to when we are taking photographs.

Captain Cook - Venus transit

Task description: Today's blog post is about a Venus transit that happened on the 5th and 6th of June 2012 and this is also from my reading class group in my literacy class in room 1 with Mrs Moala our teacher. This is a create task from a reading blog post I did pisted up not long ago about Captain James Cook like how he travelled around the world or the places he was learning about. This was a fun create task to do because it also helps me learn some things about planet venus and the sun too.

Taniwha Description

Task description: Today's blog post is from my literacy class in room 1 with Mrs moala,this task is about a taniwha that I had made myself but it was hard tryin to do it on hyperstudio because it was very hard to draw including it's body parts. But the name that I used for mine is actually a name of someone or something but I only used the name and all there other things are different then whatever has that name or who,I could have drawn it on paper but I had to rush to get it done today.

Task Description: Today's blog post is from my literacy class in room 1,this blog post talks about how we students from each school can improve on for when we are doing an writing or a summary of something using the correct words. It is also about compound and complex sentences,say like the main clauses green or the subordinate clauses blue, this topic was explained to us yesterday on a google meeting with teacher and class members.

Task Description: This blog post for today is from one of my routation class for inquiry about different countries,about there myth and legends that happened in there countries. Our teacher that was with us today was Mrs Nara she helped us with our inquiry task and also gave us an activity to do so that she could show our previous teacher what we have done and how much we have proven. This blog post Is about Jamaica The Blue Mountain: Coffee,we had to do some research about it and present what we know about it and took notes of it.

Term 1&2 Highlights

Task Description: This is a blog post that we had to do telling about our highlights and low lights from term 1&2 telling what we did and what happened. We also had to do it on a google drawing and we had to do Term 3 goals and saying what we want to improve.

Taha Challenge- Taha Hinengaro

Task Description: This is one of the taha challeneges that we team 5 block are doing and this one is taha hinengaro from te whare tapa wha. Everyday there will be a taha challenge in the first period but we don't do it on fridays because we have genuis hour,This taha challenge helps us learn more about your family and life or to share to others information what you do with your family and how you's do it.

Task Description: This is a blog post that was from literacy with my math teacher for reading,this was about a girl named Kutia explaining something in the slide show that will come up underneath this task description. My math teacher is going to be my lireacy teacher for the rest of the term because for now our homeclass teacher is math teacher. And there is also a slide some images I chose that are valued to me. 

What Is A Stereotype

Task Description: This is a blog post from reading but my math class and I are doing it,the teacher who gave us this task is Mrs Ilaoa. This task is about what is a stereotype and there is a video about a boy named Joshua and he is 17 and says a speech about something and I have some information talking about what he said in the video and what he was talking about too. The Great Barrier Reef - Create Task

learning Journey Day 3 activity 1&2

Task description:This post is from the easter learning journey,It's task taking me to 3 sites that I had to complete but I had to take a look at some places by using maps to show where it is,all 3 places are in New Zealand. But This post has not been posted on the right date so I am sorry because I was not really focused on this but now I am. These posts are the first weeks post of this easter learning kourney. There will be 3 maps down to show you the places but I will tell you the name of the places.

Anyways the first place is Rangitoto Island,the second is Tane Mahutu walk and the last place is In Qweenstown Karekare.

Easter learning Journey day 2 activity 2

Task description: This is a post from the easter learning journey,this is another  flag post from  day 2 and it is activity 2 and I am sorry that this has not been posted on the right day. But sorry to my teachers in team 5 for not doing this on the right day,but atleast I am posting them one by one but not on the right date. But I am still doing the others and I'll post them on as well.

Anyways this is a another post for the flag one but the flag is different this time because I changed it up because it was part of the activity 2 task. But I got to say I kind of like me second flag.

The reason why I created this one was because I am trying to use the same colour as the old flag but I changed up some bits of it because it certainly looks really different to the old flag for New Zealand. The simbol on it I added to it to make the flag really different. So this is the flag that I created for my second activity which is number 2 for day 2.

Don't let go

Task description: This blog post is about Don't let go this is a narrative writing that I've done for my Literacy class room 1 team 5. This is the work that I've done this is showing others what a narrative writing is all about. I did this last week and now it is finally on my blog.

On a cold and faithful night, it was a full moon. Something magical happened to a girl named Cinderella who really wanted to go to the ball festival at the palace. She kindly asked her mother if she could go. But all of a sudden her mother said”No you can not go to the ball”, but the girl said”Please I’ll do all my chores and whatever needs to be done. Then her mother got annoyed with her and all of a sudden she just left. So the Cinderella went outside and continued swiping the path,as she was swiping a fairy popped up and the girl fell into a shock to see that there was a fairy right in front of her. The fairy spoke saying “Cinderella I am your fairy godmother”, Cinderella said “ I have a fairy god mother I never knew I had one. The fairy asked if she wanted to go to the ball and Cinderella said “ Yes” with excitement. Then the fairy got her wound out and spoke saying something in her own language then Cinderella’s dress turned into something amazing and made a carriage pumpkin and animals that looked like people, and said” remember 11 o’clock be back and be fast because everything will go back to normal okay” then Cinderella left going to the ball to the palace. When she got there she ran into the palace and the prince had chosen her to dance with, all the girls were looking at her really angry because they saw Cinderella dancing with the prince,cause they wanted to dance with him. She had carried on dancing until the bell rang then she had told the prince that she must be leaving, but the prince asked if she was ever gonna come back, then Cinderella said” yes since there are 2 more nights for the ball left”. So Cinderella got on the carriage and rode off, she got back home before her step mother and got changed into her dress that she was wearing at the start. But she kept on going to the ball but then on the last night at the ball her mother caught her and grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into a room but the prince saw what had happened so he followed them into the room. Cinderella’s step mother said “how dare you come to the ball I thought I told you that you weren’t invited!”The prince had had enough so the prince came out and said” you’re wrong everybody’s invited to this ball”he went up Cinderella and he grabbed her and left. The prince said” you can stay with me if you want” then Cinderella said” I'd love to, thank you so much your highness”. So Cinderella left her mother and felt very excited because she was free and went out to more of the kingdom with the prince. Then one faithful day they went into the village and started to look for something to have a little snack but then they came across a place where there were wedding rings but then they moved on to the next stand,but the prince said”you go ahead I’ll catch up”. Then Cinderella said” oh ok” so then she carried on and the prince went to go ask how much the wedding ring he saw was so then he bought and when he finally caught up to her all of a sudden he got on his knees and said”Cinderella will you marry me”,she said”yes” so they went to the palace and asked for the King and Queens blessing

 

Writing: The young detector

Task description: The young detector is a post that we did for writing, Mrs Moala gave us a picture and told us to you's it to make a story. That's the post that I've done with a partner. It had been three days since it had gone missing. One minute he had held it in his hand, the next it had vanished. How could it just have disappeared? It had been right in front of his eyes!

He had been warned about what would happen if he lost it. His mission had been to guard the key with his life, ever since they visited him last summer.

Adam had always had a detective’s instinct. They had told him as much. He had been chosen because he had certain skills, and he would need them more than ever now.

Only one clue had seemingly been left, which was sat on the living room table.

Holding the magnifying glass up to his eye, Adam began to investigate

by starting in the library looking everywhere, then Adam’s dad was on the couch near him staring at him suspiciously and thinking if he was still looking for it.. He kept on looking for it because he knew what was gonna happen to him when he lost it.

But up the stairs there was something lurking in the dark, something with yellow or orange eyes. But Adam didn’t notice it because he was really focused on finding the key that was given to him to guard. He used his magnified glass to help him look carefully into the book shelfs corners. His dad kindly asked him the key that he was looking for a while but Adam replied in a sad voice “ no, then he turned around and sighed and left. But he kept on looking underneath the table,the shelves but the last place was the couch that his dad was sitting on, he looked under and he saw the key underneath and he grabbed it. In a happy way Adam jumped up with joy saying” I finally found it” said Adam. Adam’s dad said”that’s great son”, so he said” you will be a great detective when you grow up”. But all of a sudden he forgot all about the person or something that was lurking in the dark up stairs so he just carried on with what he was doing with his father. His father was really impressed by the way he found it and not giving up, cause he has seen the way how Adam tried his best trying to find it so he kept his words saying that he will guard the key for them while the person who gave it to him came back. So this is the end of the story about the young the detectar.
