Task descrition: This is a post from my literacy class in room 1 an as you all know in team 5 block.Anyways this post will show you information about the 1918 flu that had been going on back the old days. And there are different information telling you about it underneath this.

Deadly Speed and Everyone Was Sick is a virus that has killed 50 million people.
That people say that this came from somewhere unknown but that some believe that it came from someone who traveled to New Zealand on a boat. But I say that it was already there.

Viral Mutations
There are 3 types of viruses for the influenza virus which is called virus A,virus B and last but not least virus C.
The 3 types of viruses are things that can go on animals including humans but the animals that mainly get it are pigs,horses,birds and other animals.

_ That the 1918 flu developed into pneumonia, a complication
That pneumonia, a complication that caused the victim’s lungs to fill with fluid, making breathing difficult.
_ And that some peoples skins turn black and some can have it for 3 or 5 weeks or for who knows how long.

Untrained Volunteers
Untrained volunteers had to be chosen to help those that are sick because the nurses were one of them so they went and got people and some children to help with the food.
_ Even some boy scouts came to help but for the food they had to make soup so they got right into it and started to hand them out to the volunteers helping out so that they can give it to the patients.

That there was no medicine or special treatment for this disease at that time,so they just had to use a special spray chamber to help with their breathing.
_ People were banned from having big parties on the street but they never listened because they wanted to celebrate that the war is over but with this virus going around those people will all be in greater risk now.
